This is the blog for the materials and projects in English done with tourism students at IES Blas Infante, Córdoba, Spain. This is a High Level Professional Training course on Tourist Information and Commercialization. It is a non-compulsory education course. These students are 18 years old or older. The students here are training to be tourist information officers, tour guides, tour operators and to work in the field of tourism in general.

This year we have the help of two language assistants in the English class. They are Cory, from Oxford, England and Shelby, from Kansas, USA. They are helping a lot with the projects we are doing in the English class.

We have prepared three guided tours of our city in English for projects our school is involved in.

Several teachers are working together with the aim of preparing students to lead guided tours of our World Heritage Sight City. The teachers have organized a Working Group that meets once a week together with our language assistants.
